ABOUT US

Together, We Create Lasting Impact

This foundation was established with a clear vision: to build a legacy that goes beyond bloodlines and create impact that transforms lives across generations. Driven by a deep commitment to dignity, protection, and sustainable empowerment, the founder recognized the urgent need to address reproductive health stigma, climate vulnerability, food insecurity, and the rising threat of exploitation.
What began as a conviction has grown into a movement — one focused on measurable impact, community resilience, and lasting change. We believe real change happens when communities are empowered — not just supported. Through collective action and responsible stewardship, we work to build resilience, dignity, and opportunity for those who need it most.

Our Founder

Fartun Weli

Fartun Weli is a public health educator, community leader, and advocate dedicated to advancing dignity, equity, and culturally responsive care for underserved communities.

Born in Somalia and shaped by experiences of war, migration, and rebuilding, Fartun has spent over two decades working at the intersection of health, community, and systems change.

She is the founder of Isuroon, a nationally recognized organization that has supported thousands of immigrant and refugee families through health education, economic empowerment, and advocacy.

But her work is not only professional—it is deeply personal.

A Personal Journey Through Infertility

Fartun’s journey with infertility shaped the foundation of her life’s work. After years of trying to conceive, she was diagnosed with a condition that made it impossible for her to have children. In communities where womanhood is often tied to motherhood, this reality carried not only grief—but stigma, isolation, and judgment.

She has spoken openly about how women without children are often seen as “less than” or invisible—an experience that deeply impacted her sense of belonging. Rather than remain silent, Fartun chose a different path. She began speaking publicly—through community events, education, and media—to challenge harmful narratives around infertility and to create space for truth, compassion, and healing.

From Silence to Purpose

What began as personal pain became a public mission.

Fartun recognized that many women—especially in immigrant and culturally conservative communities—were suffering in silence, without access to information, support, or culturally relevant care.

She responded by:

  • Educating communities about infertility
  • Connecting women to medical resources
  • Challenging stigma and cultural taboos
  • Creating safe spaces for honest conversations

Her work has reached thousands of women and families, helping them navigate not only health systems—but identity, dignity, and belonging.

Why Nameless Foundation

Nameless Foundation was born from this lived experience.
It exists to honor those whose lives are often overlooked—especially individuals without biological children whose legacies risk being erased.

For Fartun, this is not abstract.
It is personal.
Nameless Foundation reflects her belief that:

A life’s value is not measured by the children one leaves behind, but by the impact one creates.

Through this foundation, she is ensuring that:

  • No life is forgotten
  • No story is erased
  • And legacy is built through action, not bloodlines

A Founder’s Belief

“You are not less.
You are not alone.
Your story matters.
Your legacy lives on.”
